ESRI Releases Version 1.2 of the ArcGIS JavaScript API

ArcGIS 9.3 JavaScript API Now Available [+]
From the mandown blog : "The new ArcGIS 9.3 JavaScript API and SDK is now available. This goes with the ArcGIS 9.3 Resource Centres that was made available earlier today.

The online SDK which includes help and samples for the API is hosted within the ArcGIS Server Resource Centre. The ArcGIS Server Development Blog has a great write up on the release with answers to some questions you might have.

The mandown blog has a good write up on this. From their summary : "With the release of  the ArcGIS API for JavaScript almost a year ago, many users have been confused about licensing. Since then we have seen the introduction of the ArcGIS API for Flex and recently the ArcGIS API for Silverlight/WPF. It seems that many users are still confused about the licensing. So to clear this up. Until now the API’s were FREE for development and testing purposes ONLY. You were required to have an licensed ArcGIS Server or a Web Map API Licence."
