Ogle Earth has a small blurb about this announcement. From their summary : "ArcGIS Explorer API: ESRI is about to announce an API for ArcGIS Explorer, reports All Points Blog, and adds, “A few additional products in the ArcGIS Explorer family will be announced as well.” Yes! The Mac and Linux versions! Just kidding. Meanwhile, the official ArcGIS Explorer blog showcases an example of ArcGIS Explorer being put to use at the municipal level."

Ogle Earth has a small blurb about this in it's news today. It points to a blog with a little more information here. Here is the summary from that blog : "Time Navigator can animate any ESRI Shapefile with point geometry and a timestamp field. The timestamp fields can be date, numeric or textual. Time Navigator is developed as a custom task for ArcGIS Explorer build 410 and can be downloaded from downloaded from ArcScripts (source code is included)."
ArcGIS Explorer 9.2 Build 450 Released

Spatially Adjusted reports ArcGIS Explorer 9.2 build 450 has been released. This goes about one month after build 440. It is a bugfix release. From the blog: "The ArcGIS Explorer team has really been working hard and it shows."
