Google announced yesterday the aquisition of ImageAmerica. The homepage has already been replaced to display the announcement only, but an archived version from February, 2007 states: "ImageAmerica is in the business of providing updated and new digital orthoimagery for use in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)."
