Vector one emphatize on the challenge that is semantics. From the blog: "As an analogy, translation can be seen as moving data using WFS or WMS, for example. But interpretation is something altogether different. [...] One would think that geography and coordinates would make that simple. It does, for location. This Ogle Earth entry discuss the difficulties of the automated mapping of geospatial blogs news items. Here's the link to the Google Earth placemark.
