MDA recently announced the launch date for RADARSAT-2 is now March 2007. The very short press release: "MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that the launch of RADARSAT-2 is now scheduled for March 2007. This aligns completion of the final integration and test with the recently secured launch window on the Soyuz II being provided by Starsem."

This new RADARSAT-2 website has been launched. From the press release: "Designed for current and future RADARSAT users, the website provides a resource of information on such topics as: RADARSAT-2 Applications (guidelines and case studies), Satellite Construction and Testing Status, Polarimetry, the Science and Operational Applications Research (SOAR) RADARSAT-2 Program, and Products and Services.
The website is a collaboration between MDA, the Canadian Space Agency and the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing. "

The Canadian Space Agency offers progress reports on Radarsat-2 and Quicksat satellites. From the short update: "[regarding Radarsat-2] Next was the second integration system test to make sure that all systems were functioning as planned and then there will be integration of the solar panels followed by the structural test to make sure that the Spacecraft can sustain the launch.
The launch is now planned for March 2007. [...] Quicksat, the first micro-satellite entirely constructed at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), has just completed its environmental testing qualifications at the David Florida Laboratory."
